Thomas's spiritual journey has taken him across many traditions and teachings. His initial training came through Hamilton Souther at Blue Morpho Retreat Center, where he learned about Amazonian plants, rituals, traditions, and approaches to spiritual healing. His journey continued through training and relationships with local shamans and spiritual teachers, where he explored Native American practices, ceremony, energy work, and other spiritual traditions.
Thomas is also a Reiki Level 2 practitioner, incorporating Reiki into his work through a combination of massage, bodywork, energy work, and intentional healing practices. This work allows him to bring together the physical, energetic, and spiritual aspects of healing, creating space for relaxation, presence, connection, and deeper awareness within the body.
Another profound part of Thomas's life is music. Music is not simply a hobby for him - it is a passion and a powerful form of connection, expression, and communion. He plays guitar, Native American flute, harmonica, and drums, and believes that music has the ability to bring people together in a way that words sometimes cannot. Whether around a sacred fire, gathered in ceremony, or simply sharing songs with friends and family, music is an integral part of how Thomas connects with others and with the Divine.
Thomas embraces Omnism, recognizing that wisdom and spiritual truth can be found throughout the world's many traditions. His path has been shaped by the understanding that beneath humanity's many spiritual languages, ceremonies, and beliefs is a shared truth: we are deeply connected to one another, to the Earth, and to the Divine.
It was from this vision that Lumina Terra Sanctuary Union was born.
Thomas founded Lumina Terra with the intention of building and expanding a genuine spiritual community - a safe and welcoming gathering place where people can express themselves freely, share music, learn, participate in ceremony, commune with one another, and connect with the Divine.
Lumina Terra is an extension of Thomas's belief that spirituality does not have to be confined to a building, a book, or a single tradition. It can be found in nature, in music, in movement, in stillness, in ceremony, in community, in family, and in the simple act of being fully present with one another.
His vision is to create a community where people feel safe to be authentic - to explore, question, create, heal, laugh, sing, play, learn, and grow together. A place where different paths can be honored while recognizing the deeper unity that connects us all.
At the heart of Thomas's work is a simple belief:
We are not separate from the sacred - we are an expression of it.
Through Lumina Terra, Thomas hopes to help cultivate a living community centered around spiritual awakening, healing, connection, education, ceremony, creativity, music, family, and the remembrance of humanity's divine inheritance.
His intention is not to tell others what to believe, but to help create the space where each person can listen deeply, discover their own truth, and remember the connection that has always been there.
Lumina Terra is an invitation - to remember, to connect, to create, to heal, to celebrate life, and to come home to the Divine.
